East Midlands mapAs the sitting Liberal Democrat MEP for the East Midlands, Bill Newton Dunn has visited local community and faith leaders to discuss local and national issues. Bill said, “It is a pleasure to meet so many community leaders. Our pledge is to make sure we continue to make communities our priority, and that the Liberal Democrats continue to fight for the rights of everyone.”

Bill Newton Dunn has visited many businesses in the region. He recently visited a family run business in Leicester after the owner of Kebab King Wholesales, Mr Osman, approached him for advice on how to expand his business into the Europe. Bill and the East Midlands candidates believe that businesses in the region are stronger together with business in the European Union, and that partnership with Europe will help our businesses continue to provide jobs and services during the recession.
